In November and December of this year, Statistics Canada will be offering a webinar on market reasearch and an information session on data visualization for free. Both are being held on multiple dates and are intended for basic data users. See below for more information from Statistics Canada:
On October 27, 2020, Statistics Canada and the Federation of Canadian Municipalities announced a collaboration to "better leverage the power of timely, trusted, and reliable data to empower communities and enriching the daily lives of Canadians."
On September 23, 2020, Statistics Canada released the Data Literacy Training Initiative. This initiative "provides a wealth of resources for those who are new to data or who have some experience with data, but may need a refresher or want to expand their knowledge". Part of the initiative is a series of data training videos which can be found in the Learning Catalogue.
