Transgender persons include those whose reported sex at birth does not correspond to their reported gender.
Non-binary persons include those whose reported gender is not exclusively male or female.
Census family structure refers to the combination of relatives that comprise a census family. Classification on this variable considers the presence or absence of: married spouses or common-law partners and children.
There is no age restriction on children. Includes children living with a grandparent or grandparents without a parent present.
