The Longitudinal Immigration Database [IMDB] is a comprehensive source of data that plays a key role in the understanding of the economic behaviours of immigrants. It is the only annual Canadian dataset that allows users to study the characteristics of immigrants to Canada at the time of admission and their economic outcomes and regional (inter-provincial) mobility over a time span of more than 40 years. This Webinar aims to help inform users of what is the IMDB, its analytical capacity, and its publicly available data products. Mike Ditor, Senior Analyst at the Community Data Program (CDP), will also provide a brief overview of the custom IMBD products available exclusively through the CDP. This webinar is suitable for all levels.
