CIHI’s Measuring Health Inequalities: A Toolkit NEW!
Why is information on health inequalities so important? Because it can help improve health and health care service delivery for all Canadians.
In collaboration with experts across the country, CIHI has developed standard definitions for equity stratifiers to support health organizations and analysts in measuring health inequalities. These definitions are featured in CIHI’s Measuring Health Inequalities: A Toolkit.
This web-based toolkit provides a consistent and standard approach for measuring inequalities and facilitating comparisons across jurisdictions and over time. It’s organized in 3 phases to help you plan your analysis, analyze your data and report your findings.
Enhance your understanding of how to use this toolkit by registering for the following 2 courses:
* 1004E-Measuring Health Inequalities: An Introduction
* 1045E-Measuring Health Inequalities: Planning Your Analysis (Coming end of November)
