Indigenous populations in Calgary and Alberta: data sources and resources

How can we use data to better understand Indigenous populations in Calgary and Alberta? In this webinar, The City of Calgary will present an overview of data from a variety of sources including Statistics Canada and Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada. Following the overview, participants will have a chance to find data and complete simple analysis through hands-on exercises. Although this webinar is focused on data for Calgary and Alberta, most of the information presented will also be applicable to other municipalities and provinces.

To participate in this webinar, participants require Beyond 20/20 software, spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel, and an account with the Community Data Program. A basic understanding of the Community Data Program catalogue and Beyond 20/20 software is recommended.
