CPAN is a grassroots, action-oriented, network made up of hundreds of kind and caring individuals. We work together to improve the lives of children and youth who live in poverty in Renfrew County. We do this by offering practical assistance: with programs that provide back-to-school items, winter wear, gardening opportunities, and school inclusion; we advocate for systemic change at all levels of government, as well as items and services locally; and we educate others about what poverty is and how any one of us can fall into poverty.
We have a very small staff, and no government funding, so rely solely on grants, donations and fundraisers to continue our work, as well as volunteers.
