Join the fun and attend the Partnering to Hack Homelessness (P2H²) Hackathon in Ottawa! The event runs on Friday, Nov 18 to Sunday, Nov 20. Attendance is open to everyone of all ages and backgrounds.
This weekend-long hackathon presented by Employment and Social Development Canada in collaboration with Datafest Ottawa. Apply your knowledge, coding, design, and data visualization skills to do good for your community. The goal is to work alongside local organizations to prototype creative technology solutions for challenges faced every day by those who work to support people experiencing homelessness.
As part of this in-person Ottawa-Gatineau hackathon you will:
- Gain an understanding of homelessness issues in our city;
- Have the opportunity to disrupt these homelessness issues with your ideas and skills;
- Be challenged to think critically as you build something new and helpful;
- Meet, learn from and be inspired by creative, collaborative and caring folks like yourself.
