This procedure describes the steps to populate the new catalog with CSDS data.
- Login to
- Click Create Content->Product in the left side column menu
- Input the table filename prefix (without the .zip or .ivt file extension) as the Name; usually this correlates to the StatCan product ID that the tables are shipped with; ex. file=2008_62F0031-35.zip Name=2008_62F0031-35
- Enter the Title text from the old catalog (which comes from the Notes section in the IVT file) as the Description in both english and french separated by one blank line. ex. Survey of Household Spending in 2008 - Detailed average household expenditure, 2008
- In the catalog section, select the categories for this product (use CTRL key to select/deselect). ex. Select "Survey of Household Spending", "Families and households", "2008", etc
- In the product information section, enter the Name as the SKU and enter 0 for Default quantity to add to cart.
- In the access section ensure the following permissions are selected: Owner Permissions=Update, Administrators=Update, Anonymous Users=View
- In the Publishing options section, ensure that Published is selected.
- Click Save and continue. This should display the new product page.
- On the new product page, click Edit and then click on Features. This should display a new screen with a message saying "No features found for this product".
- To add the file download, click on the Add button next to "Add new feature: File download" line.
- In the new screen, select the SKU for the product. ex. 2008_62F0031-35
- Enter the filename with path relative to httpsdocs/drupal/csds-sacass/archive ex. SHS/2008_62F0031-35.zip (note: the real path is httpsdocs/drupal/csds-sacass/archive/SHS/2008_62F0031-35.zip)
- Ensure that the Shippable product checkbox is not selected.
- Click the Save feature button.
- To check the new product in the catalog, go to /CustomProductSearch select a category and press the Apply button.
- Some Quality Control is required to make sure products aren't being duplicated during data entry.
