​This year's annual general meeting will be held in Banff, Alberta on May 26th and 27th.  

If you are unable to travel to Banff, you can attend the meeting via webinar. Please check in early to test your audio settings.

Travel and hotel information has been provided by the Alison Gerrits (403-762-1252), the lead of the Bow Valley consortium that will be hosting the meeting:

  • Travel by air to Calgary, Alberta (Westjet and Air Canada)
  • Meeting being held in Banff (approximately 2 hours from airport) – travel by Brewster Banff Airport Express is highly recommended – details below with discount to book.
  • Alternative is rental car – vendors in airport, and can be booked in advance.
  • Meeting will be held in the Banff Firehall Training Room – directly across the road from the hotel.
  • Banff has a very small footprint (4 square kilometres), so is extremely walkable… cars really not necessary!

  • Mount Royal Hotel – 138 Banff Avenue, Banff, AB  (downtown Banff)

Preferred Block Book Rate and Booking Instructions:

$139.00/night (available May 25 to May 27th) - unfortunately they cannot extend the room block rate for pre and post travelers. At the time of booking the guests will be offered the best available rate based on availability.   

***NOTE: To receive the group rates, guests are asked to call reservations at 1-877-442-2623 and quote the group code provided below.   

Please note that reservations must be made by phone, the group rate will not be applied to reservations made online.

AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION TO BANFF from Calgary Airport– Brewster Banff Airport Express

This is by far, the easiest way to get to Banff from the Calgary Airport.  Door to door service from the airport arrivals section – Ground Transportation area directly to the Mount Royal Hotel.  You can book a return trip – cost is about $100 return for a trip that is about 130km each way.

Guests can book on-line at Brewster Travel Canada or by calling our toll-free line at 1-866-606-6700.  In order to get the 15% discount on-line, they need to enter the following under the promo code when they “check out”: “dataAGM”  If they are calling in and speaking to one of our agents, they also need to identify themselves as being with dataAGM in order to get the 15% discount. The promo code is valid from May 18th to June 3rd 2016
