Statistics Canada is hosting a “Chat with an Expert” session- Gross domestic product by industry: Provinces and territories, 2017.

How did the economy of my province or territory compare to that of other provinces or territories in 2017?

Gross Domestic Product (GDP) by industry at basic prices is a measure of the economic production which takes place within the geographical boundaries of Canada. GDP by industry for each province and territory is prepared for 222 specific industries to provide a variety of useful detail for the analysis of regional economic performance. 

The May 2, 2018 release of preliminary estimates of provincial and territorial GDP by industry for 2017 will provide insight on Canada’s economic performance below the national level.
